The roof was ripped off our Grace Home orphanage in Yangon. Everything on 3rd floor was destroyed. There is water damage in the rest of the building and food storage area. All of the children and staff are OK, but badly shaken and some have minor cuts. We need to quickly raise some funds to fix the building. Limited water and electricity is available in the area. Our VisionTrust staff is trying to help others.
Fortunately, Grace Home has a generator and can pump water. They are providing water to people in their community. The community is disorganized, people are in search of food, and many people are displaced. We have no cost estimate for repairs, but their first guess is about $30,000 or more! They may be way off. They also need funds for food for themselves and people in their community. With 22,000 people dead and approximately 41,000 missing, we've got to respond. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate their Christian compassion to their Buddhist neighbors. I’ll send more info when available. Can you help? Can you ask your church to take a special offering to help? Click here to donate and then enter Burma Relief in the description. Thank you for your compassion!
Sincerely, Ernie Taylor, VisionTrust CEO.

What's the deal with the government? They refuse outside relief but do not supply it internally?
