I was able to visit Lissandra at her home on Friday afternoon with another girl from the volleyball class, and Daniel Ne, who is in charge of child sponsorship here at Grace School Neither Lissandra nor her sister were crying, but seemed to be more in a state of shock than anything else. We were able to pray with Lissandra and console her with God’s promises that he is with her and will never leave her (Deuteronomy 31:8), and that he uses all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). I know that God is faithful to his Word, and will be with Lissandra. Please pray for her, that she would believe Him for his Word as well. Please pray that she would walk in faith, knowing that God is good and loving and that nothing can ever separate her from His love. He was, is and always will be good and perfect.
“The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." -Deuteronomy 31:8
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[m] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. -Romans 8:37-39

Praying for this family and the role you might have in comforting and consoling them...
For His Glory,
